  • Will I be charged extra fees?
No.  Most likely  your bank is routing your credit card card authorizations from your credit card terminal through standard authorization clearing houses.  VisaNet is a standard credit card authorization clearing house and most likely already has an agreement with your bank for handing charges routed through them.  This being the case you will not experience any increase in your cost of processing credit cards.  Just the opposite, if you use Address Verification Services built into EzVerify you can most likely reduce the cost of accepting and processing credit cards because the risk factor of accepting credit cards using  AVS is lower and chance of credit card fraud is greatly reduced.

  •  Can I Use EzVerify?
If you have a Merchant Number and currently accept credit cards using a credit card terminal device or are looking to buy a credit card terminal device you can use EzVerify.  EzVerify adds Credit Card Verification Terminal services to your PC.

  • Why should I use EzVerify?
Compare the price of EzVery at $79.95 to Credit Card Verification Terminals that perform the same tasks and are priced starting a $300.00 an the answer to that question is easy.  Competitive software starts at $245.00.  EzVerify is a wise buying decision.

  • How Do I Know It Works?
Systems Online is an certified developer of credit card processing software.  This means that VITAL(VisaNet) has tested our software and it performs credit card authorizations according to their specifications. We are listed in the VITAL(VisaNet)  list of Certified Developers and products.  This list can be viewed by clicking here.  Developers and products are listed in Alphabetical Order.  EzVerify is listed under Systems Online, Inc. (approx. location on page 713 of the Vital document titled "Company Listing By Name")

  • What Credit Cards Does EzVerify Support?
EzVerify supports all major credit cards.

  • Does EzVerify support AVS  (Address Verification Services)?
Yes.  If you provide Address Line 1 and zip code AVS will automatically be performed during the Authorization process.  Accepting credit card that return an AVS EXACT MATCH can dramatically reduce Loss and bank charges.

  • I get the error "Provider Not Found" what do I do?
EzVerify Requires Microsoft's ADO and JET.
Version 1.0.11installs Microsoft's ADO and JET automatically.

If you do not have Microsoft's ADO installed:
You can download and install the ADO by going to Microsoft's site http://www.microsoft.com/DATA and download Microsoft's JET 4.0 and  MDAC (Microsoft's Data Access Components) and installing version 2.5 or 2.6 or (version 2.7 for XP and 2000 machines)

XP and 2000 users who have installed MDAC 2.7 you will also require the Jet 4.0 Service Pack 3 as it is NO LONGER distributed as part of MDAC starting with Version 2.7. Jet 4.0 Service Pack 3 is also available from http://www.microsoft.com/DATA

  • My Bank Has given me a 16 digit merchant number.  Your Merchant number for VITAL(VisaNet) is only 12 Digits.  The employees at a financial institution may only be aware of how their banks internal system work and may not be 100% aware of the requirements of VITAL(VisaNet).  In most cases your 16 digit Merchant Number consists of you STORE ID + MERCHANT ID (Bank Of America uses this format along with other institutions)  EzVerify requires both your STORE ID and YOUR MERCHANT ID to be entered into separate fields in the Merchant Setup Screen.  All 16 digits will be used to properly Identify you, but they must be placed in the appropriate STORE ID and MERCHANT ID settings fields in order for EzVerify to work properly.

  • My Bank Wants To Charge Me Setup Fees. You should not be required to pay any additional fees for VisaNet Configuration or V-Files or V-Numbers if your bank or financial institution is already a member of VisaNet.  Usually the employees of the bank are not clear about what you are trying to do and believe you are asking for an ADDITIONAL Service.  Properly understanding  the MERCHANT ID and STORE NUMBER  verses the MERCHANT NUMBER that has been provided by your financial institution will solve this problem.  In Most cases you are not required to obtain any additional information from your bank.

  • I Have less than 12 Digits in my Merchant ID.  Pad your MERCHANT ID with trailing digits.  For Example if your MERCHANT ID is 12345678 you would enter 123456780000 in EzVerify's MERCHANT ID field.

  • How can I verify that EzVerify is an acceptable or approved method to Authorize and Settle my credit cards.  EzVerify is Certified by Vital for use with VisaNet.  Hundreds of products are cerftified by Vital.  To review a copy of the Vital Certification for the EzVerify product you can go to the Vital web site by clicking here  or you can directly view the list of Certified Developers and products by clicking here.  Developers and products are listed in Alphabetical Order.  EzVerify is listed under Systems Online, Inc. (approximately located on page 713 of the Vital PDF document titled "Company Listing By Name")
